Nessa, specifically the version from Twilight Wings.

In human form, basically a tall lanky dark skinned woman or girl of indeterminate but certainly legal adult age, with dark black hair with blue strands.

Shockingly enough, she is not at all related to the Sama(t)su family, despite the dark brunette hair and tan brown skin. However, she seems like a virtual deadringer for the family, so the mistake is understandable.

In monster form, she's a dark skinned female with a sea serpent-like lower body, with dragon-like wings, that glow like rainbows from the front and are obsidian black from behind.

Age:
Probably a few centuries old, but she's basically the 12 Dimensions' version of a 20 something.

Gender:
Female ~ Female Adjacent. She feels like a woman but isn't entirely vibing it, you know?

Occupation:
Currently a songstress and hostess working for Auld Lang Syne, a company whose actual purpose is ill explained and defined. But the owner eccentrically pays her only other employee really well.

Sapphire was formerly an agent of B.EA.S.T. (The Bureau of Extranormal Affairs: Study and Take Down), the cross-world law enforcement force used by the 12 Dimensions to settle and deal with major supernatural events and cross national crimes. Basically the 12 Dimensions' version of what everyone ASSUMES Interpol does. Sapphire was formerly a member of Internal Affairs, and due to circumstances, is now doing work as a songstress slash hostess.

Duel Information:
Deep Sea, a Sea Serpent themed Deck based around general WATER Support and manipulating the opponent's hand. Her aces tend to be general WATER and Sea Serpent type Synchros, with some Link utility.

Personality:
Serious but not humorless, Sapphire despite her name, is a consummate professional with regards to work but is much more relaxed outside of work. However, she's also generally anxious about her prospects, having recently lost a job she considered her life long career path, and her future is a huge uncertain unknown. Morally, she's definitely on the side of good and law and order, but recent events have broken her faith in the system, despite believing in it her entire life up to this point.

As far as hobbies go, she's swords-fighter, well read in books of occult lore, a fan of mystery novels, and has decent skills as a harpist and singer.

More personally, she's a member of a subsection of the Da Eiza Church, specifically she worships and follows the teachings of the goddess Aisenburn Babylonia, as the goddess promises good luck, especially with future prospects and is a symbol of strong femininity, especially among women and girls of Sapphire's age.

Also, Sapphire, while born female, views herself as not entirely comfortable as being solely female, and considers herself more female adjacent that outright female through and through.

History:

Sapphire is a member of the Sea Serpent races that dwell the eternal ocean realm of Okeanos, a mostly underworld realm home to various oceanic civilizations such as the sunken cities of Atlantis, Lemuria, Pacifica, and Magellanica, as well as the mythical "Fire King Island", a lost island said to be home to a race of Fire Spirits. Specifically, she's a member of the Ra'a-Mu family, a well known linage from the city of Lamuria, whose family line is known for essentially being knights turned cops as well as sages and librarians. It's said that the family can trace its linage to staff from Ane Go Rock, a famous super max prison in Okeanos for the worst offenders of the 12 Dimensions' crimes, some even claiming relation to Lady Dian Keto.

Sapphire, while incredibly intelligent and book smart (and pushed through various schooling and studies of ancient tomes), felt drawn to justice, and slowly made her way up from a member of the Guard to Captain of the Guard, to working at Ane Go Rock Prison, and ultimately got promoted to internal affairs at B.E.A.S.T. However, the post Judgeman era of B.E.A.S.T. has been tumultuous, and there's been infighting and corruption among management, as well as cheating with regards to paperwork, and Sapphire was about to expose a certain section of B.E.A.S.T. for corruption, specifically the branch overseeing one Tenjou Kaito... and... they caught wind of it, framed her for corruption and got her fired.

Sapphire, distraught, and finding the system turned against her, and nothing to show with her entire career path in shambles, couldn't go home, especially to a family who considered her a pride and joy. She ended up one way or another on Earth, in Domino City Japan, looking for work, or some sort of goal. Maybe even find officer Kaito, who knows, but she eventually ran into Ms. Sayaka, the owner of Auld Lang Syne. Sapphire is personally confused as to what exactly Auld Lang Syne *does*, but Ms. Sayaka pays extremely well and was able to somehow get her into a specialized series of apartments designed for Duel Spirits, specifically one meant for an aquatic being such as herself.

In turn, Sapphire serves as basically an odd-jobs assistant to Sayaka, combination Mentat, Secretary, Hostess and Songstress. She's a bit perplexed by the work, especially what Ms. Sayaka is after, but she's basically getting paid very very well to help an odd rich lady, and for the moment, that will do well enough.

Abilities:
• Trained in sword magic, allowing her to buff swords, as well as create them out of thin air.
• Excellent swimmer and flier due to sea dragon related genetics.
• Somewhat photographic memory with things she's concentrated on
• Musical skills, she's good at singing and playing harps
• Good with magical devices and ancient books

Why is your character here?:

I want another female leaning character from the 12 Dimensions, who will be able to be involved with Linka's various plots, who can allows me to explore the ocean realm of the 12 Dimensions, as well as another side of B.E.A.S.T., even if she is no longer formally involved with the organization.
